Grand Pumpkin Illumination

October 22nd, 2011

5pm - Downtown Business Trick-or-Treating (at participating businesses)
7pm - Grand Pumpkin Illumination
7:30pm - Delafield Public Library Magic Show in the City Hall Council Chambers

See the grand lighting of 100s of pumpkins! The night of October 22rd, 2011, begins at 5pm with Trick-or-Treating. Walk to all of the specialty shops and restaurants but be back at the "Steeple" (606 Genesee St., Delafield, Wisconsin 53018) by 7pm sharp to witness the grand lighting of hundreds of pumpkins, an event called the Grand Pumpkin Illumination.

Over 300 uniquely carved pumpkins, made by area school children, are put on display in downtown Delafield. Fun, yet non-spooky, Halloween music builds excitement as the pumpkins are grandly lit, in dramatic fashion, with a different color lights.

After inspecting and photographing the hundreds of unique pumpkin carvings and great costumes of the other spectators, walk over to another family free event at the new City Hall & Library building at 500 Genesee St. for the magic show! The night's events are designed for families who wish to enjoy not-so-spooky Halloween fun!
