Along with a variety of historical attractions and Delafield Chamber produced events, there are also several, community annual events which bring in a number of visitors who stay in the City of Delafield. Delafield is 30 minutes from Milwaukee, making Delafield a great place to stay for to enjoy some of the hottest summer events in Milwaukee such as Summerfest – the World’s Largest Music Festival and the Wisconsin State Fair, and Milwaukee's favorite professional baseball team. Producer-only upscale market featuring locally grown vegetables and fruits, herbs, eggs, honey, soap, fresh and dried flowers, perennials, annual bedding and vegetable starter plants, alpaca yarns and variety of handcrafts by local artisans. Farmer’s Market runs every Saturday in the City of Delafield parking lot next to the Fish Hatchery building along Main St, one block west of Genesee St (County Road C), in downtown Delafield, Wisconsin. Event Location: Lapham Peak Unit of the Kettle Moraine State Forest, Delafield
SummerStage, the only outdoor performance theatre in Waukesha County, is set in the beautiful Lapham Peak Unit of the Kettle Moraine State Forest. When the weather turns warm, you can experience theatrical, musical, dance, and even comedic performances held in the open air. Bring a blanket, lawn chair, and your favorite picnic meal and beverages as you enjoy the arts in a natural, rustic setting. Art aficionados will be overwhelmed by the sheer volume of original art at the Lake Country Art Festival, now in its 40th year. Naga-Waukee Park hosts 150+ juried exhibitors in this highly anticipated, charitable event. Shop for ceramics, pottery, jewelry, wearable art, painting, woodwork, glass art, textiles and more! Children will enjoy making their own crafts and playing inside the bounce castle in the festival children’s area. Food and beverages available. County park admission fees applicable. Under a tent in the serene Naga-Waukee County Park, over 14 acts of musicians and bands take the stage at this two-day festival celebration of Blues music! Ample seating is under the tent to lend to a comfortable atmosphere and your listening enjoyment of “Blues” music. If you prefer to be in the sun, then bring along your own foldout chair or blanket to sit and listen in the grassy area adjacent to the tent.
