Bring your boat, or rent a pontoon or jet ski – local rental companies are happy to deliver to any of the nearby lakes. Two boat launches in Naga-Waukee County Park provide access to both Nagawicka and Pewaukee Lakes with opportunities to hook into Muskie, Northern Pike, Bluegill, Crappie, Walleye, and Large & Small Mouth Bass. If fishing isn’t your sport, try your hand at sailing, water skiing, canoeing, and kayaking. The Lake Country Recreational Trail and Lapham Peak unit of Kettle Moraine State Forest offers family-friendly trails for biking and hiking. Or, enjoy a round of golf on the 18-hole championship Naga-Waukee War Memorial Golf Course in Naga-Waukee County Park. It has beautiful vistas of nearby Pewaukee Lake. 3. August 5-15th, Wisconsin State Fair
Get your fill of cream puffs and catch all of the State Fair animals and fun without having to worry about traffic or parking in Milwaukee! Hop on the round trip shuttle bus service from Delafield to State Fair Park. The shuttle starts at the Naga-waukee Park and Ride on Hwy 83 and I-94. Print a coupon here for bus fare.
4. August 13-14th, Waukesha BluesFest “An American Music and Art Festival”

6. SummerStage Theatre in Kettle Moraine State Forest – Lapham Peak
Throughout summer, indulge in everything from Shakespeare to Irish Dancing at SummerStage, an outdoor amphitheater in the Kettle Moraine State Forest. 7. Hawks Inn Historical Museum and Visitors Center Tours
Step inside a genuine stagecoach stop with a tour of Hawks Inn, a renovated and refurbished stagecoach station and the social and political center of Delafield in the mid 1800s. Free educational tours every Saturday, 1-4 pm. Get details.

10. Short drive to great events throughout Milwaukee and Madison
There’s no need to leave Delafield, but if you do, Delafield is an excellent launching point to many summer hotspots in Southeastern Wisconsin. Head down to Summerfest, the world’s largest music festival, or the Wisconsin State Fair by hopping the shuttle in Delafield at the Nagawaukee Park-Ride in Delafield (Hwy 83 and I-94). Don’t worry about traffic or parking – the shuttle drops you off right at the main gate! There’s also Milwaukee Brewers Major League baseball, popular ethnic festivals on the Milwaukee lakefront, the famous Farmers’ Market On The Square in Madison, and more.
